Realm has confirmed the launch of the Realme 14x 5G, the company’s next smartphone in the Realme 14 series, in India on December 18th, ahead of the launch of the Realme 14 Pro series. The Realme 12x, which was launched earlier this year, only featured IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The Realme 14x 5G will be the first smartphone in India with IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance priced under Rs. 15,000, according to the company.
Realme also said that the smartphone’s design takes inspiration from the tough beauty of diamonds, with a back panel that reflects the luster of crystals and gems under different angles of sunlight.
The company has yet to reveal more details about the phone, but the design and the colors of the phone look similar to the Realme V60 Pro, which was launched in China last month.
To remind you, Realme V60 Pro packs a 6.67-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD screen, is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, has a 50MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, military-grade drop resistance and packs a 5600mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
The Realme 14x 5G will be sold on December 18th, the same day as the launch of the phone, said the company.
